Our Newcomer Team invites you to visit the Washington United Methodist Church and all of its programs. We extend the arm of Christian fellowship to you!
Everyone is welcome at the United Methodist Church, no matter what your denominational background, no matter where you've been or what you've done. Seekers and non-believers are welcome to come and learn about Christianity at worship and in Bible studies/classes.
If you want to transfer your membership to the Washington United Methodist Church, please contact the Pastor at

. All new members and transfers are asked to meet with the Pastor and attend a New Member Orientation. Members are asked to participate with their prayers, presence, gifts, witness and service before joining to make sure that they are comfortable with the membership vows.
Guests and visitors may attend at any time and do not have to be members of the church to partake in Holy Communion. To receive Communion you must desire to live a holy life, repent of your sin and make a decision to live a life worthy of Christ. We have Open Communion, where everyone, including children are welcome at the Lord's Table. See what John Wesley says about taking Communion.
If you would like instruction in Holy Communion, please contact the Pastor.
Our tradition teaches that we are to take Communion as often as is possible. We serve Communion on the first Sunday of each month.
If you are concerned about spreading germs, be assured that we use individual cups and small pieces of bread. |
